[20] GENRE: High Concept Film

A High Concept Film is one that has a concept, usually visible immediately from the title or cover, that seems ridiculous or unusual… these things can usually be sued up in a fast quick sentence, examples of this would be films like “Snakes on a Plane”, a film in which Snakes invade a Plane, it is that easy to sum up high concept films. The term ‘high concept film’ is often misused in media as it is very easy to see it as just being a name in one word but it can be much more than that. Some examples are attached below:
